About

Canada's Middle East Blog (CMEB) is sustained by the efforts of progressive researchers, journalists, artists and activists across the country to provide a progressive reflection on events relating to Canada and the Middle East.  The CMEB was launched and is maintained by Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME, www.cjpme.org), but welcomes all qualified and competent contributors. It is our vision that the CMEB will host some of the most insightful and progressive voices on Canada and the Middle East.

CJPME, for its part, is a registered not-for-profit organization. CJPME's mission is to promote justice, development and peace in the Middle East, and here at home in Canada.  In addition to sustaining the CMEB, CJPME carries out advocacy and educational activities across Canada.  CJPME relies on the support of individual and organization donors. If you like what we do, please donate to our work.

Take a look at our list of bloggers, or check out CJPME's main Website to learn more about its broader work.
